As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on a transformative year in food data and sustainability. From developing the FoodFacts Hub to engaging discussions at events like Märkningsdagen, we’ve been inspired by how data is empowering food retailers and producers to make informed, sustainable choices. Thank you for being part of this journey! Let’s look back at the milestones we’ve achieved together and explore what lies ahead in 2025.
The year’s biggest highlight was the development of FoodFacts Hub, our unique digital tool for healthy and sustainable product development. Created in collaboration with Kavli and with financial support from Vinnova, this interactive tool empowers product developers and sustainability teams to assess the impact of their products on climate, water, biodiversity, and nutritional health during the early development stages. Orkla Foods Sverige and Coop Trading is now also participating in the development of FoodFacts Hub. If you’re curious to learn more, read about it here.
Another key moment was Dagens industri’s recent interview with our CEO, Alexandra, where she shared insights on how innovation is addressing future challenges—and how FoodFacts Hub plays a vital role in these solutions. You can read the interview here.
Throughout the year, we’ve also been on stage at several events. Perhaps you caught us at Märkningsdagen or Techarenan? We were also thrilled to exhibit at Framtidens Livsmedel at Kistamässan, where we met many new and friendly faces.
